Install the VMware Remote Console Plug-In for Internet Explorer Prerequisites To install the plug-in, vSphere Web Access must be running on vCenter Server or on the ESX host to which you are connecting. Marvel vs capcom 2 chd files. Hi All, I'm using System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager SP1. I have successfully added a number of HyperV and VMware hosts and can see all the VM's on these hosts. The problem I'm having is when attempting to open a VMware VM via the 'Connect via Console' option. I get a message advising that an ActiveX plugin is missing, and asking if I want to install it. When I say yes to this, my default browser opens and attempts to download 'vmware-vmrc-win32-x86.exe' from my vCenter Server. It is unsuccessful in this attempt as the path it's attempting to download from is invalid. I managed to download the plug in from my local machine (i.e. The PC that I'm running VMM Console) via the folllowing URL: The plugin has been successfully installed into both IE and Firefox, but I continually get the message to say that the ActiveX plugin is missing when I attempt to 'connect via console'. Can anyone help me please? Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that this will be addressed in the next quarterly update of VMM. We are aware of this issue. The response I got was this is a known bug and they didn't have a resolution. I haven't got around to it, but my intention is to enable RDP either through group policy or in my template that I use to deploy then just use the right click remote and then RDP. For me I only deploy Windows boxes, so this works for me. What I tried. Installed vsphere client. (In version 5.0 installing the client installed the active x Plugin) I had to install the desktop experience on the server to get the website to load on the server because it is flash. The site loads, but in order to get the active x plugin to work you have to switch to IE 10 compatibility. Unfortunately none of this helped getting the plugin to work. Hello everyone!
